My Description and What I did
In this class, students learn the skills to effectively speak in front of people. We learn how to organize, research and conduct different types of speeches as well. We gain and give constructive criticism as we deliver our speeches. In this class, I prepared and delivered three different types of speeches. We give criticism to our peers after their speeches as well. We have a quiz each week based off two chapters in the book at a time.
Course Description
This course provides the student with training and experience in researching, organizing and presenting various types of oral presentations. Topics covered include audience analysis, speech organization, delivery techniques, and the use of sensory aids. Narrative, informative, and special-occasion presentations are required. The instruction in this class, in large portion, comes through discussion with the class and the instructor regarding specific speeches the student will deliver.
